The Ada Jobs Foundation contracts with the City of Ada to promote and recommend economic development opportunities with the city. We were established in 1998 to create and retain quality jobs for the Ada area. We serve as a "one-stop-shop" for economic development by coordinating with the city and other entities for your benefit.
The Ada Jobs Foundation works in partnership with state and local government, educators, training providers, financial institutions, and business. Our partners include Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, Ada Industrial Development Corporation, Chickasaw Nation, City of Ada, East Central University, Pontotoc County Commissioners, Pontotoc Technology Center, Science and Natural Resources Foundation, and Tri-County Indian Nations, CDC.
The Ada Jobs Foundation is a non-profit organization, funded in part by membership dues and tax deductible contributions. In addition to membership dues, funding is provided by a contract with the City of Ada.
The Ada Jobs Foundation works to improve the economy of Ada on three fronts:
- Retaining existing jobs,
- Recruiting firms, and
- Encouraging and supporting new start-up firms.
