The 2010 Ada Area Job Fair, which is hosted by the Chickasaw Nation, Murray State College, Ada Workforce Oklahoma, Pontotoc County Commissioners, Call-A-Ride, Ada Jobs Foundation, and the Southern Workforce Investment Board wil be held on Thursday August 19, 2010 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Pontotoc County Agriplex.

Employers in the area are encouraged to have  booth if they are currently hiring or would like to create a pool of applicants for future hiring needs. Several employers have already committed and booth space is limited, so reserve yours today by completing the booth registration form, which can be accessed by this link.

Booths are free of charge to area businesses. Interview rooms are also available. Please see the details listed below:

Where: Pontotoc County Agri-Plex, 1700 N. Broadway

Time: 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. Please staff your booth during these times to  accommodate all job seekers.

Booth Rate: FREE

Parking: Parking is free, and there should be plenty of parking for the job seekers.

Marketing: The campaign to market the event includes: Press releases and advertisements within a 60 mile radius of the Ada Area including: newspapers, cable television, radio announcements, as well as posters placed throughout the area.

Unloading:  The building will open beginning at 8:30 AM. Volunteers will be available to help unload vehicles.

Hospitality Room: A Hospitality Room will be provided for participating vendors. You will receive two meal tickets & lunch will be provided at noon.

Interview Rooms: Please call Mari Plumlee @ 580-272-0733 to reserve an on-site interview room.

Tear down: Please staff your booth until 2 p.m. for job seekers arriving later in the afternoon.
