The adjusted retail sales for Ada during the year 2009 totaled over $289.2 million, which ranked Ada 5th in the Oklahoma when compared to cities of similar size.
Additionally, when comparing total retail sales over the past 20 years, Ada’s growth has been comparable to other communities in the state.
One way Ada outshines other communities in the state is our per capita retail sales. In 2009, Ada had $18,089 in retail sales generated by each resident. This placed Ada higher than any other community in the state.
