The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the September employment number recently and Ada continues to trend positively. The Ada MSA labor force grew while the unemployment rate declined. For September, the US rate remained the same and the Oklahoma rate decreased slightly. Additionally, the Oklahoma labor force declined slightly while the Ada and US grew.

Ada continues to outperform other similiarly sized communities in regards to unemployment rates. Enid is the only larger labor market in the state with a lower unemployment rate than Ada.
