AIDC honors C.B. Howard for Outstanding Service

On August 21, the Board of Directors of the Ada Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) honored Mr. C.B. Howard. Mr. Howard was presented with a plaque commending him for his distinguished record of service as President of the AIDC Board of Directors. Mr. Howard has been a member of the AIDC board for over 40 years. Howard served as President of the Board from 1982 until resigning from the position in May 2007. Mr. Howard will still continue to assist with industrial development as a member of AIDC’s Board of Directors.

            During his 25 years as President, Howard has overseen numerous industrial development projects, including but not limited to: the establishment of an Industrial Park located South of Ada, the expansion of several local manufacturing facilities, and the establishment of new manufacturing facilities in the Ada Area. Mr. Howard’s actions as AIDC President have resulted in the employment of hundreds of citizens in large and prosperous manufacturing facilities.     
  Mr. Howard’s leadership, guidance, and direction have help guide AIDC through 25 years of success and achievements.  AIDC’s Board of Directors feel honored to have served under Mr. Howard’s guidance and leadership and believe that Mr. Howard’s vision for the continued growth of the Ada Area has resulted in new employment, new industries, new facilities, and new development processes.
