The April 2010 Unemployment Rate was 4.8%, which is a decrease from the March rate (5.1%). In the state of Oklahoma, the Ada labor force has the second lowest unemployment rate for labor forces greater than 15,000 in size.
The Ada Area Unemployment Rate is half the national average (9.9%) and almost two percentage points below the Oklahoma average (6.6%). The Ada labor force declined by 100 employees from March when both the US and OK labor forces increased slightly.
