Citizens Bank of Ada has been recognized with SunTrust Mortgage's 2009 Lender of the Year Award.

    The company was honored during a formal award presentation on March 17th. The SunTrust Mortgage Lender of the Year Award recognizes key business relationships within the mortgage industry.

    SunTrust Mortgage, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SunTrust Bank, selected Citizens Bank of Ada for this honor based on its ability to provide excellent customer service and consistent volume and quality products to SunTrust Mortgage.

    Other factors that helped Citizens Bank of Ada earn the recognition included its significant volume of loans and is high quality originated, processed and closed loan business in an extremely volatile mortgage market. "Citizens Bank of Ada was single out from over 75 correspondents in Oklahoma and Arkansas for its impressively steady production and attention to detail, provided by its entire staff, including loan officers, processors, underwriters, closers and management, " said Laurie Simmons, Correspondent Account Manager of SunTrust Mortgage Correspondent Lending.
