Ada's medical community serves as a regional health care hub that serves not only Pontotoc County but the citizens of neighboring counties. Ada is home to three main medical facilities: Valley View Regional Hospital, Chickasaw Nation Medical Center, and Rolling Hills Psychiatric Hospital. 

Valley View Regional Hospital was established in 1938 as a non-profit, acute care general hospital. In 1986, a new facility was constructed to house the growing hospital. Valley View Regional Hospital has over 700 employees which includes over 100 physicians that specialize in over 20 different fields. Over 86% of Valley View’s physicians are board certified. Managed by Mercy Health Care Systems of Oklahoma, Valley View is a member of the American Hospital Association, the Oklahoma Hospital Association and VHA, Inc., the nation’s largest voluntary hospital health care system. We are a not-for-profit, acute care, regional facility in Ada, Oklahoma serving a nine county area in south central Oklahoma. Valley View recently received the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations.

In 2010, the Chickasaw Nation opened the new 370,000 square foot Chickasaw Nation Medical Center. This state-of-the-art health care facility includes a 72-bed hospital, level 3 emergency department, ambulatory care facility, diabetes care center, dental clinic, diagnostics imaging center, women's health center, administrative offices, and tribal health programs. 

This facility tripled the size of their previous health facility in Ada. The CNMC has the region's only 256 slice CAT scan machine. The Chickasaw Nation invested $145 million in the project in a unique joint venture with Indian Health Service.

Rolling Hills Hospital is a private, inpatient psychiatric hospital providing behavioral health care. The 40-bed hospital treats psychiatric and substance abuse patients in a serene environment located in north Ada. Rolling Hills Hospital has been serving the Ada area for over 18 years. Rolling Hills Hospital is licensed by the State of Oklahoma and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
