The total value of building permits issued in the City of Ada during the month of July 2010 totalled $2,528,000. This was an increase over over 324% from July 2009 values ($596,044), but building permits fluctuate month to month. The year to date total for 2010 is over $21.8 million and indicates an increase of 164.1% from this time last year. The 2010 year to date numbers have already exceeded the entire value of permits issued in all of 2009, but has yet to meet the or exceed the values of permits issued in 2007 and 2008, which were impressive yet unusual years of growth for Ada. Current permit values are on track to exceed 2006 values, which is in line with the expected growth process of the area.
