The total value of permits issued during March was $5,507,916. This number represents a significant increase over March 2009 numbers, but building permit values fluctuate significantly from month to month. The 2010 YTD total value of permits issued is over $8.3 million which is an increase of 231.5% from 2009 YTD values. New commercial construction and commercial renovations accounted for the majority of the building permits issued.
